Hello. Complete noob with Domoticz and Mysensors here. Been using it for around 2 weeks now, and absolutely love It so far. But I have encountered a small roadblock trying to get a slave dimmer to control a real dimmer. When I change the dim value on the slave dimmer, both dimmers are updating in Domoticz but it is not dimming the lights.
I am using a mysensors led dimmer with rotary encoder and another mysensors dimmer sensor as the slave dimmer. I want to be able to dim the lights from two dedicated dimmers.
I can provide more information on demand because I have no Idea what may be relevant for debugging.
I have tried getting this to work for 2 days now without success, reading a lot of forum posts and googling.
Any help is highly appreciated.

Re: Can't get slave dimmer to work correctly
I've just tried the same thing with a Nexa RF transmitter mapped as a sub device under a Fibaro dimmer by following the steps on page 28 and 29 in the manual.
When operating the remote on and off buttons both the sub-device and the main device change status to On in Domoticz but no command is sent to the dimmer, this is also evident in the absence of any Zwave commands in the log at the time.
For the moment I'm using groups to turn the lights on and off from the RF transmitter but would like to get it working as a sub-device so I can also dim the lights.

AFAIK, a slave only updates the status of the master in Domoticz but does not send a signal. This function helps Domoticz to update the status of a master when another device triggers the receiver directly.

Re: Can't get slave dimmer to work correctly
Thanks, that certainly explains the behaviour! I had a read through the sub/slave section of the manual and it does start by saying that this is a difficult concept but then unfortunately doesn't explain the purpose of the function in a short and to-the-point sentence such as yours.
