What about implementing af burn rate on exciting watt devices or a currency device type.

What i want to show is CURRENT WATT / 1000 * kwh price from settings

This shows me the amount of money i am currently using a hour on energy.

Great idea. I was just looking into using a virtual device set to a type of counter, but this does not accept floating numbers.

Why not just use the text device for it? Update it with a script and you're ready.

I am using a text device for it.

But I want to treat it as a number so I get graphs, and stats.
