DHT22 Temp - humid to show up in Domoticz

Hello,

first off, I just want to say that I am very new at this.

Well, yesterday I "programmed" my first LED light switch on to Domoticz via the Raspberry pi pins. Now I have that one switch in domoticz, but i also want my DHT22 temperature and humidity sensor to show up - but first:

1. I use GPIO4 for this, I dont know how to "code" this - should I export this pin as IN or OUT?

2. Let's say that step one is completed and it is connectet and set up correctly electricaly. Now I'm about to code it and import the adafruit code to read it in my terminal but how do i export this to domoticz? Do I even have to export it to domoticz?

3. As my (very basic) understanding of domoticz, I can only add switches and things like that, but the DHT22 is not a switch, I just want it to show the temperature and humidty. How can i manage to import the sensor in that way?

Well, if you take the time to answer this questions it would be greatly appriciated, and i also guess that you know the answers to some random raspberry questions that I hope you also can answer:

- Lets say that I at one point get a better understanding of this, then i want to set up 4-5 temperature and humidty sensors around the house, but I want it to be connected to the one and the same raspberry. The distances can variate between 3 feet to 200 feet. What kind of wire do i order? Is it okay to use a normal DATA-cable?

- How can I import the raspberry pi camera into domoticz and use it as a DVR?

I really hope to hear back from you guys!

Instead of wiring 4 or 5 DHT22, on a distance up to 200 feet !! , I would suggest to use ESP8266 module with DHT22 wireless sensor, connected by wifi to your Raspi.
Much easier to install an less expensive the 200 feet wiring.
See "ESPEasy" also.
