Hi!

Got a Wifi iBox Controller (iBox2) in the mail and a bulb to play with. Works fine with domoticz (thanks!)

But can I control only four bulbs with this controller?

Where is this info coming from? How would the bulb receiving the UDP package know how many other bulbs there are in the same group? :D In MiLight documentation it is stating everywhere that you can have unlimited bulbs per group. Currently my biggest group is 18 bulbs...:)

But I have to place each bulb in a group and all the bulbs in a group will do the same?

If you have rflink and nrf, group number is unlimited then.

Hmm, I saw on the faq section a mention of 200+ bulbs per group/zone (link), but e.g. in this picture http://www.limitlessled.com/images/Limi ... lution.jpg the term "unlimited bulbs" is again used :) Guess there is some sort of limit of how many bulbs you are able to fit to the area of the bridge's / remote's range, but as the bulbs themselves are not aware of what is happening around them and the remote / bridge just sends UDP packages through the air, I don't see how there could be any fixed limit on the number of bulbs? In any case it is safe to say this limits is not easily reached.

Well, at least here "unlimited" is maybe a bit of an exaggeration :) The size of the "ID-pool" is limited - though not easily reached...

An excellent option, I'm sure, especially in the future (I have it as well :)). But I must mention the current Milight implementation in RFLink is not without its flaws yet. If you search the forum you can see what type of problems users have had...
