Wind speed meter values

Hi,

I built a wind sensorr with mysensor.
I send wind speed (instantaneous speed) & wind direction every 2 seconds.

In domoticz (last beta release), the forecast panel (wind sensor device) is updated every 10 seconds. That's good

The wind graph plots datas every 5 mins.
It seems to be not correct for me.
When I look in the database domoticz.db, values are stored every 5mins.
Even when no data are sent, domoticz continues to store for about 1 hour (copy previous datas every 5min). These records are useless
The wind speed value seems to be the maximum speed from the last 5 mins.
Moreover I see, the same value for wind speed & wind gust on the graph.

With my sensor, I also could send a third value (wind gust)
What's the best solution for a wind speed meter with mysensor ?
What I have to send every 2 seconds ?? Is really necessary to send every 2 seconds ?
- Instantaneous wind speed only, no wind gust? That's what I do
- Average wind speed from last 5 mins only ?
- Average wind speed from last 5 mins & wind gust ?
or what-else ?


I think, the good way should be to have the average speed for the last 5 mins and the wind gust (maximum value during the same period)


Other question:
Why, when I restart domoticz, it doesn't work any more ? The datas are not updated any more.
The node (wind sensor) is still send datas, mysensor gateway receives all datas, but domoticz does nothing. No trace in the log.

I have to reset the node (wind sensor), but for sure, the node is still running like a charm.
Maybe a re-initialisation is needed. But that's a big problem when my sensor is on the roof.
