Scene Timers with date range

Hi

Right now, the timers have a time-of-day and a day-of-week possibility
Would it be possible and/or a good idea to add a Day-of-Year (DoY) to the timers?
So it would only trigger when within this date rage?

For example:

Scene "Morning (open curtains)"
Active from September 21 to March 20, open at 15 minutes past sunrise
Active from March 21 to September 20, open at 07h45


I think I could achieve this also with the events logic, but I feel that is a bit of overkill for this type of request.
It just feels logical that Date type function is part of the Timer parameters.
