"Barometer" vs "Temp+Hum+Baro" device

Post by ffes »

I am working on my Buienradar weather lookup plugin, but I run into some strange things. I hope a core dev can answer this question.

As far I understand the values for the nValue and sValue are documented in these sections of the API/JSON page. I notice that the "Barometer" device wants other values for BAR_FOR then the combined "Temp+hum+baro" device.

Barometer forecast can be one of:
0 = Stable
1 = Sunny
2 = Cloudy
3 = Unstable
4 = Thunderstorm
5 = Unknown
6 = Cloudy/Rain

Barometer forecast can be one of:
0 = No info
1 = Sunny
2 = Partly cloudy
3 = Cloudy
4 = Rain
Is this really the case? If so, why are they not the same?

To answer my own question... 8-)

I looked at the code and it turns out the information at the combined sensor is the right one. I updated the wiki accordingly.
