Domoticz

I'm using a zwave stick with domoticz and all the devices work properly. Now I would like to check if there has been no Response in a meaning time and then send a notification. Even this works, but I don't know how I can tell a device to respond in a given time.
So I would like to make the device to respond let's say every hour. And if there is no Response, send the notification.

Is there a way to tell the devices to respond every hour. Or is this different for every device.
