Domoticz

Hallo,

I'm in the mood to try to implement Domoticz in my office to control all the blinds in the building
We do have 3 showrooms, on 3 floors, each one has 21 blinds configured with Sompfy Telis / Mottura 5155 (both at 433.92Mhz)

I would like to remove allr emotes and use Domoticz to control them all.
Just a question... except the range limit of the RFXCOMM that I'm not sure it will cover all the distance...

Can I control ALL 63 blinds with a single RFXComm?
I think so... but in the RFXTRX433 web page is written I can contro UP TO 40 SOMFY remotes...

Shall I split into 3 installation (one for each floor) and use a master/slave configuration to have a single place where to operate them?

Yes, you can control up to 40 Somfy RTS devices with one RFXtrx433E.
If you add a second RFXtrx433E you can control up to 80 total.
It is maybe an option to add the same ID-unit code in two or more motors so that you can control all with only one RFXtrx433E?

The range should not be a problem if you are able to control the motors with a Telis remote on same location as the RFXtrx433E.
The RFXtrx433E transmits Somfy RTS commands also at 433.42MHz and +10dBm so you have the maximum possible range.

Giving the same ID means that with one single signal I control more motors? (Like wiring them in parallel) ?

this woould be an option, but there are some elec problems that convinced me to avoid the motor programming
