as the topic says, is it possible to control spotify from Domoticz?

What device will be playing Spotify?

a surround receiver(yamaha) it has a spotify built in. i just want Domoticz to control the songs.

I think you must search for an spotify python script and then look at the python framework to implement this as hardware.
