Domoticz

Hi everyone,

Recently I've trying to set up my Amazon Echo Dot (2nd G.) with my Domoticz system (v3.5877) running on a Raspberry Pi 3B model with Raspbian.

I've used the tutorial below in order to set up the HA-bridge (version 4.1.0):

So far, so good. I see my Domoticz-devices in the bridge and I can control them using the test-buttons within the HA-bridge. Also I'm able to control my smart home devices via the browser. But when I ask Alexa to discover any devices she isn't able to find the smart home devices. I've tried the following:
- Reboot of both Pi/Domoticz and the Echo Dot
- Set up the Pi/Domoticz and Echo on a different router/network
- Changing the port of the HA-bridge to '80' instead of '230' (8080 is taken by Domoticz)
- Using other 'Skills' from Amazon in order to find the smart home devices

Also:
- I've checked the UPnP settings in my router: this is activated

Might be useful information:
- Alexa can't find my Plex media server running on my Pi via FreeNAS either (only when I open it in my browser)
- The devices that are included on the Domoticz-server are mostly Everspring Z-Wave switches and dimmers

Do you guys have any suggestions? I've spend many hours on this project and I'd really like to get it working. Let me know if you need more information.

I'm having the same issue.

My bridges version is 4.1.4

I have only a single light on the system right now. It shows in bridges and is controllable from there. It is just not discovering.

Looks like a problem with ha Bridge - others have reported similar problems. The suggestion is to use http://www.bwssystems.com/#/habridge. Not sure that isn't the same as the one suggested in the wiki - there is some comment about it being forked off the main trunk.

I would though recommend madgeni's approach at http://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic ... on#p104079

Bit more effort, but much better if you have a large amount of devices.
