Hi,
I am a DIY HiFi builder. Many of these "experimental" systems suffer from a turn on "thump" through the speakers as the different parts of the electronics settle down after power on.
My System uses separate HomeEasy receivers to power on the main hi-fi stack, and separate HomeEasy receivers to power on the power amplifiers (which have a built-in 3- sec delay...not nearly enough).
The idea I have is that when I power on the hi-fi-stack, via the remote control and/or Domo, then after 10 seconds Domo will power-on the amplifiers. At turn-off of the hi-fi-stack, Domo will power off the main amplifiers. So, no more thumps through expensive speakers.

The problem I have is information overload. How to do this (simple?) thing through Domo? Do I go in for PHP scripts, can I use the built-in features of Domo..just where to start?

Any advice or examples of how to do this gratefully received. The problem above is relatively common in Hi-fi and frequently solved with extra hardware, cabling and boxes. The Domo solution, assuming it is realistic and possible, should be much nicer and much more flexible.

As long as you only operate one switch then you can use blockly to also change the state of the 2nd switch with a on-delay (either in that switch (if I remember correctly thats possible, or set the delay in blockly)

Great... I shall look into that. It sounds exactly what I need. There will be a short pause while I find out why one-half of my power supply has just stopped working.
