Hello!

I have a home security system that communicates with X10 over 433MHz. All sensors and remotes are picked up by RFXtrx 433E and are visible in Domoticz. But now one of my remotes are broken, and I can't seem to find an replacement remote. There for I have an idea about simulating a remote in Domoticz. And then do the arming operations via the Domoticz app and the Domoticz security panel.

Is it possible to create a dummy switch to send the commands via RFXtrx?

I don't need to replicate the old remote. I can learn the home security system new codes. The only thing I need is a dummy remote operating X10 codes that can be sent over the air. I have tried several different approaches, but nothing works.

Any one have any ideas if it is possible to send arm and disarm command from Domoticz with RFXtrx 433E. According to the RFX manual it can send X10. But I can not find how to create the dummy switch needed for this in Domoticz.

You go to the switches tab and there you create a manual light/switch

Hardware is "rfxcom" or the name you give to the hardware device that is using the RFXCOM and type is X10 ....

But then I will only have on and off. I haven't tried to see if I can learn my home alarm this device.

But I will still miss the ability to Arm Home..

And most preferably I wold like to implement it in a script, so that I send commands to the alarm to set it at the same security state that Domoticz is in. That is I would like to send: Arm away, Arm home and Disarm. All these three buttons is available on my broken remote.

One final try to see if someone know how to do this!

Is it impossible in Domoticz to create a manual security remote?
