Domoticz

Hi,

I have 6 Cresta Tx320 spread out through my home and all work fine except the one in the garage. This unit stops sending data after a couple of days and I don't know why
Since this unit is in the garage, I thought it was too far from the antenna so i decided to install a second domoticz server in the garage just for it (I have two RFlink's). The thing is that the unit still stops sending data randomly. I've added the sensor to both servers and, after a few days of sending data to both server, now it's not sending to the closest antenna (Server 2) but it is to the farthest (Server 1)

Has anyone seed this behavior? Any ideas how to fix it?

Im using RFLink Gateway USB, Version: 42.0 on both machines

Have seen simular thing when i had two in living and bedroom. Just bought a Bar500.

The last one is burned with only 1 channel. Number 1. Had to reassign another channel on one of my sensors.

Perhaps you have something simular with a neighbor nearby?

The do not send directly, the broadcast (shout through the air) which you pickup.
So check Setup/Devices/Unknown first.
Also low temperature for the batteries are bad. Distance is dropped dramatically then.

B_Weijenberg has build the rfxtrx and has some documentation about which devices use which protocol and which channel(s).

I have several temp/hum from different suppliers so i have no collisions on the same protocol and channels.
