Update to the latest firmware version.
Configure the settings in RFXmngr, click Set Mode and click Save Settings.
The settings are restored each time you start the RFXtrx.

Re: set mode on RFXtrx433E not working
Stupid me, I wasn’t aware that all modi had to be setup again after having updated the firmware.b_weijenberg wrote: ↑Saturday 14 January 2017 13:50 Update to the latest firmware version.

Do I have to setup all the settings seperately? Or is there some file that I can install so all modi are back?
I have connected the RFXcom433e connected to my Windows PC. No clue how to connect it via the network.
Any help would be appreciated. At my age it seems to be very hard. I’m happy to notice that the RFX device is still working with the known devices.
Regards
Frans

I learned a lot by making mistakes. Eventually I learned howto fix this with the RFXmngr. Issue solved.

Re: set mode on RFXtrx433E not working
Same problem for me on my new Debian Buster Pi. Updating RFXtrx433E to latest firmware solved the issue.
Connecting the RFX device via USB to a Windows PC worked well for me. (Seems that flashing via Domoticz does not always work)
Simply go to download section of http://www.rfxcom.com and download and install the RFXflash Programmer tool and download the appropiate firmware (for me the RFXtrx433E Pro1 Firmware 1043 was recommeded by RFXCom and did the trick). The manual in the downlaod section gives a clear instruction on how to use the tool.
