MySensors now has official Raspberry Pi support

The MySensors project dropped a great update just before the new year, and can now officially be run on the Raspberry Pi.

In this thread it is also mentioned that MySensors and Domoticz can run on the same Raspberry Pi:

Are there any optimizations towards this connection (planned) in Domoticz?

That's great news... Or not haha. Just ordered a ethernet shield for the Nano. To free up a usb port.

Curious how stable it is though.

Well, from the version already released before 2.1, very stable...

How can I update MySensors Gateway from 2.1.0 beta to 2.1.0 stable/final release?

Tried it on a test raspberry. But it can't connect. Not the ethernetway or serial.

Could it be I haven't connected the radio? Because it's still on the Nano and need to have it running. Got no spare radio to test.

So nobody knows? Or it's a simple question....

OK I know.... You can't if the radio is not connected on the pins....

one thing with my sensors.....
Battery drain.... :-(
Without battery: nice stuff..

Battery drain?
I think battery drain is pretty ok with 3.3V arduino pro mini with replaced regulator (MCP1700 linear regulator).
As a battery I use a NCR18650B which lasts for I think 4-6 months (it could last even longer because I have set the ADC range from 3.6V to 4.2V). Is this a bad duration?

Battery drain ? I made sensors for door and temp/humidity powered by CR2032, over 6months running time for my door sensor on a cheap chinese CR2032 and reported voltage is still near 2.9V meaning it didn't eat the main part of the capacity of the cell, I don't see how it could last less than 2 years.
On temperature/humidity sensor (using si7021, reporting every minute and blinking a led) they've not been running long enough (around one month) for me to see any significant drop in voltage, changes due to temperature at the moment are much bigger than changes due to wearing out...
I'm just using pro mini without power led and regulator, and a lot of deep sleep.

You can't blame battery drain on MySensors, it's just that you need to implement the same tricks that are implemented in commercial sensors if you want the same efficiency/battery life.
