Is it possible to add osram light bulbs directly to domoticz (without an osram gateway)?

Also I'm not sure what hardware would be required to control osram (gateway or light bulbs) with raspberry PI, any advice/links?

I'm new to domoticz and I'm planning on buying a raspberry PI for it, I've found a tutorial related to this but I'm not sure if I can use the light bulbs without the osram gateway. I'm interested on the A19 RGBW, but I also might settle for the A19 Tunable White.

Tutorial for controlling tunable white (Not sure if it requires a gateway):

Thanks

You will need a gateway of some sort to control these bulbs. The Philips hue hub works out of the box with domoticz and can control the lightify bulbs.
You may need the lightify gateway too though to update the bulbs to the latest firmware so they work with the hue bridge.

I think some of the guys are working on linking the lightify gateway straight to domoticz but not sure what stage this is at.

For basic bulbs I personally like the white hue ones, and a reasonable price @ £15.00

I use the lightify gu10's as these were considerably cheaper than the hue ones, and I didn't need colour.
Though, Philips have since brought out white gu10's at a similar price.

Thinking of getting some of the lightify candle bulbs.
