433Mhz CC1101 USB Wireless RF Transceiver Module 10mW USB UART MAX232 RS232

Good Afternoon,
I have a 433Mhz CC1101 USB Wireless RF Transceiver Module connected to my windows 2012 server that is running Domoticz. My domoticz server does have seven Z-Wave devices connected to it and several IP cameras. I am liking it more and more each day. I would like to use the CC1101 USB Wireless RF Transceiver Module to control several RF on and off switches I have. I can not seem to attach the CC1101 under the hardware. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Under which hardware, Domoticz or Windows?
Domoticz only has hardware for RFlink or RFXcom's.
Windows: driver only for desktop/laptop Windows editions not server?
A google search reveiled it as cheap ebay device, apperently no support at all, or very hard to find.
What you can try is share the serial interface (COMxx) through the network, and try if you can use the RFXcom lan as hardware in Domoticz.
Else i guess your have to write your own hardware for Domoticz or write a windows-background program (that interfaces with the stick) and write with JSON or MQTT to Domoticz.

You are very right. It is one of the cheaper 433mhz to USB. I was just hopping. Windows does have the drivers and through its own app it is working. Domoticz does not have any support for it.
I had taken your advice and tried a serial device over the internet through software with no luck. it is a great idea because i thought it was working. But it was not and does not
many upon many different drivers and software still to avail. I not good enough to write drivers for windows but it would be nice. I guess i just have to by the big boy

I woule love for this or something like it, to work with Domoticz. RFlink and RFXcom are too large and expensive for what they do.

Expensive is relative...Your opinion.
Yes, i agree, the rfxtrx433e which i own is a deep hole in your wallet. However support as in firmware updates is so great.
RFlink is a bit cheaper and community supported.
Its what you like to spend. I admire the work done for both. And happy to spend the money on one of the devices.

Very relative. I paid 10 euro's for my last RFLink. And 2 minutes of my time soldering the little antennas to the receiver and the transmitter. Connected them up with some dupont cables flashed the firmware put it in a box, hooked it up. Cheapest transmitters and receiver I could find on ali, still covers the whole house
Relative indeed.

Can you post the devices you bought on Ali to make your 10€ RFLink?
... or alternative: is
this guide enough?

That will work also check out the
rflink wiring page
Well this is my version...
Components
Radio's
Optional Milight/MySensors/...
Controller
Extra items
Base model
Consists of 2 radio's arduino mega/usb cable and some female to female dupond no almost no soldering required (receiver pins only
Wires with radio's will stick out...
Could be yours for
€10.03 (optional Milight for 55 cents extra)
Small model
Small version of the controller board, replace the controller and cable with
Could be yours for
€12.02 (optional Milight for 55 cents extra
Optional for soldering
Base model PCB
Small model PCB
Soldering costs
Which adds €2.55 for the base model or €1.76 for the small model, excluding tin, soldering iron, time and patience
Better Radio
You could replace the receiver and the transmitter with
But it will add €11.37

Use some pliers to get some space between the plastic and the pcb, I soldered the rf24l01 wires
in between (not shown), also the raised nrf24l01 fits better this way.

I connected the female connector to male pins with solder bridges to easily solder the little wires...
Also note that with milight I use the padding on the edge of the pcb to make a u-turn to access the middle pin of the 3-pin header as seen in the previous image at the bottom.

also note the atenna does not touch any wire... (but hot glued it afterwards...)
