popp thermostatic valve

Hi,

I got a popp thermostatic valve today and it works great, I receive the current temperature and can set the setpoint. The one thing I do not succeed in is to set the clock. I do get the thermostat clock, but when I try to correct the time I get a "Setting the Clock is not finished yet!" message and the time is not changed. I do wake up the device just before clicking the update button. What am I doing wrong?
Another question: when I use the timer functionality of the setpoint control I assume it will be the controller sending the setpoint commands at the set times. With the popp (remastered danfoss) you can also set an internal schedule. How do I change that one and send it to the thermostat?

Thanks!

Marcel

Hi,

I've come across this topic when searching for information regarding my Danfoss thermostats. From what I've read it's not possible to set the internal clock but that doesn't seem to be necessary as Domoticz will keep track of the time.

Just out of curiosity, why do you need to change the internal clock? :)

Cheers!

Hi,

I did search myself on the forum before posting and found some more people with the same problem but indeed no solution. So it is just not possible?
I wanted to set the time as I was not sure if setting the timers entered at the Domotiz setpoint would send them to the thermostat (and if they did the time should be right of course), but reading your answer apprently not, it is all managed by the controller itself. Another reason is that I have trouble getting a good connection from the controller to the thermostat in the attic so it woulds be beneficial if the thermostat could manage by itself but I understand that is not possible with a Domoticz controller?

Best, Marcel

Danfoss LC-13 (got 2) looks to have 3 temp presets (P1, P2, and P3)

I assume the device has also a weekly plan capability (undocumented in the user manual) or probably compatible with other systems.

...the only thing is that I have 2 devices: Setpoint and clock.. no temp!!! :( :(

Now it´s possible to set the clock in OZW control panel.

I had a restart to the pi and have seen in the log:

OpenZWave: Value_Added: Node: 7 (0x07), CommandClass: CLOCK, Label: Day, Instance: 1
OpenZWave: Value_Added: Node: 7 (0x07), CommandClass: CLOCK, Label: Hour, Instance: 1
OpenZWave: Value_Added: Node: 7 (0x07), CommandClass: CLOCK, Label: Minute, Instance: 1

it´s al littlebit tricky but it works
Have a nice day.....
