Howto switch Silvercrest 276299 powersockets on and off

Post by squirl »

I bought two sets of Silvercrest 276299 with each 4 sockets and a remotecontrol. The remote control is recognized In Domoticz as a Ligting4 PT2262 device. Each time I repeat pressing the same switch on the remote i get a different signal with RFXmngr. The sockets learned the codes from the remote and that works fine, but I can't get it done with Domoticz/RFXcom433E.
Needs The RFXcom433E firmware to be adapted or do I have to use ARC or AC or something else to control it?

It sounds like you are having the same issue I had with my Brennenstuhl sockets. I solved this by following this link: viewtopic.php?t=1194#p7075 I had to use the chart to work out the House and Unit codes from the dip switches. Other units have sliders/turn switches.

When the devices are manually added they register as Lighting1 instead of Lighting4 and work perfectly as a toggle on/off instead of half working and needing 2 separate switches for on/off.

HTH.

Hi Dezz,
Thanks for your reply, I think there is a difference with your switches, because my sockets don't have dipswitches or anything like that. I have to learn them the on command from the remote by unplugging, the led starts blinking and within a half minute i have to push the button on the remote that i want it to respond to. The manuals says i can learn the sockets to respond to six different remotes.

Just got the same silvercrest sockets from Lildle. Good deal. However my rfxcom433e does not seem to support it fully. The commands on/off only do on and not off.despite auto detect or learning mode in domoticz.

I've flashed the latest 1015 ext2 firmware but no success. Could rfxcom provide advice, or what can I provide to fix this?
Thanks

I have these sockets and found only RFlink works.

It will be nice for RFXcom to support these but I like the modular nature of RFlink now.

Is this a problem in the RFXtrx433E or in Domoticz?

Please test with RFXmngr. If the problem is in the RFXtrx433E contact support rfxcom.com
