Hi There,
I'm having the following idea. Wouldn't it be great to have an option in domoticz to select any image you want behind your switches as background ?
There are a lot of nice backgrounds out there. It would be a nice way to personalize your Domoticz.
Greetings Brutus

It can be done.
2 ways:
1) start downloading new frontpage the G3rard version or any other frontpage....
2) download and modify styles/templates like ThinkTheme (Thinkpad) or others....
After that you can modify .css files and add/replace background image.
The default-theme (which is empty) is located in the domoticz/styles/default location on your filesystem.

Thnx for your options. But I am thinking of a more easy way for everybody.
An additional option at the theme section were you can browse to a background.
Not everyone is programmer.
Greetings.

True
A more easy way through setup/settings would be great, however thats why there's the themes option...
Anybody starts with the default theme, starts searching for themes, implements these, and finally modify them to their liking.
Myself started that way, and i do understand what you ask for, i hope sometime in the near future themes/background modification will be implemented so it can be managed a lot easier.
