Amazon Echo IFTTT service now live in the UK

IFTTT have advised that the Amazon Echo service is now live in the UK.

I have tried to use a trigger name and selected the maker service but am unsure as to which method to select - get, post, put, head, delete, patch or options or which content type to choose - text/plain, application/json or application/x-www-form-url-unencoded.

I have tried a few combinations with a url I have created and know to work in a browser but can't seem to get the maker bit actioned by IFTTT.

Any thoughts?

This works for me.
I haven't tried it directly with echo yet mind.

URL: the external Jason URL for the switch.

Method. : get.

Content type: plain /text.

:body: (leavecempty).

However.
For controlling domoticz switches with echo, something like ha bridge is probably going to be better. I think you can get quite a bit of lag with ifttt.

Ah ok - those were the settings I was using - but my voice triggers that didn't work yesterday are working today.

Perhaps IFTTT was a little overwhelmed yesterday?!

Thanks for your input :)

Indeed, but sometimes you want it the other way around.

I for instance, is trying to use IFTTT to trigger a scene in Domoticz when my Alexa alarm is triggered
