Klikaanklikuit Doorbell always ON

Post by Justintime »

I have a Doorbell switch Klikaanklikuit ACDB-7000AC

Been busy with a Blocky. To activate my cove lights and a script to take screenshots.

The problem is that the DoorbellSwitch always "ON" is in the device list. When i use the blocky and schemerschakelaar is ON he activates the Blocky. While i want to be activated when the doorbell is switched.

Tried both "on" and "group on"

Tried to convert it to a pushbutton or normal switch but nothing works?

Okay found a work around....

Made a normal switch with a "group on" command. And made a seperate blocky to switch it off. In the Doorbell blocky it didnt work.

Still i think its strange that a doorbell gives a "ON" state.

I think you'll find that just about every wireless doorbell is the same!
You only need to do a devicechanged check, 'cos it sends ON whenever pressed.
This question has been asked nearly a million times...
Zwave - Sigma Z+ stick, Fibaro, Horstmann, Neo Coolcam, EUROtronic
RFlink - IR detectors and temperatures
Wifi - YeeLights, ESP32s, Anoop sockets
Zigbee - lots with zigbee2mqtt and ZbBridge

This is the blocky:

Problem is when "licht Fibaro" reached the criterium. Its going to start the blocky. Because the Doorbell is "ON"

But i have reached my goal.

2 hours later... This blocky works. If you set the blocky to devices.
No need for extra blocky to set it "off"
Been a while since used blocky with this "new" feature.
