Copy one controller Stick to Another

Hello everybody,
I'm currently using the Somfy Tahoma Z-Wave stick, which is Z-Wave only, while - if I'm not mistaken - the Aeon Labs USB stick is Z-Wave plus and it seems much wider used. I also would like to exclude the possibility that the stick is the cause for some problems (like slow responses to motion sensors and, e.g., turning on lights), so I have decided to give the Aeotec stick a try.
However, if I get it right, the devices are not bound to Domoticz but to the particular Z-Wave controller. Hence, if I just take out the Somfy stick and insert the Aeotec stick, the devices are gone. Is it possible to somehow "copy" the devices associated from one controller to the other? Or do I have to manually exclude and include every single device (which is particularly going to take some time as stuff like door/window sensors were very tricky to include).
I'd be glad if there was an option to replace a z-wave stick with another without in-/excluding everything. And sorry if I didn't manage to find an answer but neither Google or the search really helped me (still possible I used wrong keywords).
