Hi
I have question?
If the AEON Labs Z-Wave Range Repeater & Range Extender (
http://aeotec.com/z-wave-repeater) work's with Domoticz?
I have problem with Danfoss Thermostat (it is to far from my Razberry) and I want to add this to my Domoticz system.
Do You have any experience with this device or other devices that extends range of z-wave?
I'm using z-wave Razberry module with Raspberry Pi
Best regards

Hello,
I also use the Danfoss Thermostat, which is out of reach, and use a Fibaro FGS-222 for my lights and it also acts as repeater. Question is whether you really want to pay for a dedicated repeater and why not better use a relay or wall-plug (Fibaro wall-plug or Aeotec wall-plug), which gives you additional functionality AND acts as a repeater itself.
Just some thoughts though this does not answer your original question, but you might consider it as an option. I don't know whether you're aware that non-battery z-wave devices act as repeater themselves. The Fibaro wall-plug and this range extender are at almost same price in Germany.

Hi antares
Thank You for answer. I was not aware that wall plug works like repeater.
You have right. This is the best solution for me. Z-Wave range repeater is only 10 euro cheaper than Fibaro Wall Plug in my country (Poland).
Best regards

Hi lukcinek,
if you want a (in-wall) relay for repeater, I strongly recommend you to get the newer FGS223 and NOT the FGS222. The former is Z-Wave Plus, while the latter is 1st generation Z-Wave. Hence the FGS223 is a better range extender than the FGS222.
I just happened to have a problem that my Aeotec MultiSensor outside the house was out of range. I replaced the nearest relay - an FGS222 in the wall - with FGS223 relay and now the sensor has no problem to connect to my network. Range is much better!
Thus: make sure you get a Z-Wave Plus device!
