Rasberry PI - SD card image no longer available

Dear fellow Domoticites

just bought the newer v3 Rasberry PI and wanted to upgrade my existing installation to the newest availabel version.
However i cant seem to locate the SD card images that were provided previously.

Even Gizmocuz references them in his pinned latest release post

"A new SD card image is almost ready, this will be based on Raspbian 2016-09-23, and only Domoticz is installed on top.
This means, if you installed or are using additional applications like NodeJS/Node-Red,mosquito, you might want to install these again.
A notification about the availability of the new image will be posted here.

but not only is there no mention of the "new image (post oct 23rd as inferred) but the wiki articles seem to embed me in an iterative loop that links me back to articles that dont seem to even have the old images available.

is the only way to get operational thease days to undertake a vanilla install of a linux distro fullowed by syncing down the Domoticz code.....?

domoticz on Pi with Piface, Hue, Razberry, Openthem gateway ( that wont work with the V3 Nests ), lightwave, Alexa and android

Tried the new guide in wiki and in my opinion it does not matter that the image is not available. I installed RASPBIAN JESSIE LITE and then installed domoticz via SSH. Just as easy as the old image.

Thanks for the reply Nukie, and apreciate this direction is possible, however every time i have started to build any long term plan on a distro ( and then found different builds released, package versioning interopabilities, lack of identical builds for consistent testing accross the userbase ) i end up spending more time diagnosing the issues than utilising the platform im trying to build.

When I use a sd image as a static "stable base"I know that Gizmocuz has tested this confirmed it working and i know any issues therefore are more likely to be outside the consistent SD image than inside it.

Really just keen to understand if an RPI SD image is no longer part of the release strategy or if I'm just inbetween builds/releases and as per the latest build thread it really is coming soon....

There will be no more sd card.
You can now install domoticz on a new (or existing) installation via the command displayed here:

Thats such a shame. My Pi controlling my garage has given up so thought I'd redo a new image from here.

Never mind eh! I guess it does take a lot of time to keep up to date.

It's verry time consuming, and uses a LOT of data on the hosting.
