I have been browsing around and checking out this software and it looks just like the thing ive been searching for, i allready have a few 433mhz switches and will probably expand the system with zwave sometime.
I am also going to use a few IP cameras in the future with zoneminder probably.
My hardware setup to start will be
- RFXtrx433E + extra antenna incase of bad range in house
- Aeron Labs Z stick gen 5
Questiontime!
- I already have a HP proliant microserver that currently runs a ubuntu torrent / fileserver/plex server.
Is is better to get a raspberry 3 to run domoticz stand alone or run it on the same as my torrents and such?
- If i setup a zoneminder server (seperatly on another pi3) for my IP cameras. Can i still use the cameras for domoticz? Trigger events such as "start recording for 10 seconds when movement outside frontdoor is detected" and so?
