OWL CM180 3 Phases, question before buying

Hi all!
First post here, so warm welcome in the very beginning and thank you all the developers and supporters of domoticz!
I've been using domoticz for some time (Raspberry Pi + RFLink), expanding my solution with new software and hardware slowly.
Now I would like to integrate OWL Micro+ (CM180) into domoticz solution. I already own RFLink, page says that Owl is supported.
However, there is one thing that is not clear for me, maybe you are able to help. There are two possible options for me: Owl 1 Phase or Owl 3 phases. I have three separate phases at home splitting different areas. So thoreretically I can use both of them, but the question is if domoticz can draw three separate graphs per phase or should I buy only 1 phase version on plug clamp on main cable before split?
Thank you in advance for the answer

RFXtrx - My CM180 DOES work with with all 3 phases.
RFlink does NOT work.

Thank you very much for quick answer. That makes my decision much easier
And you are right - this was more question about RFLink, not domoticz as itself. Data about 1 phase is still sufficient for me, however I didn't want to close door for some solutions choosing wrong hardware. Now it's clear. There is probably slight chance that RFLink will support more phases, but that's future.

Hello CaesarPL,
Are you sure your 1 phase monitoring will give you the right information?
I myself have the same power situation at my home. 3phase in, only 1 phase out (3 phases splitter to different power groups).
In this situation you can only measure the power usage of 1 phase, so only a few groups and only part of your total consumption!
Greetings
Bart

I am not that good at energy, and I thought that when I clap Owl before they split, the measurements should be fine... I will contact my electrician (fortunately it's my father-in-law

) and ask him some questions.

I will write directly to RFLink devs, however this is interesting:
R41:
- Added: support for up to 3 OWL devices operating at the same time
But I'm not sure how to understand that. Could be that 3 SEPARATE 1 phase devices are supported.

I know that I am answering my own posts, but... Directly from RFLink, William says as below:
'I have no relation to the hardware. I am just developing the firmware.
RFlink can handle both 1 and 3 phase OWL devices.
It also can handle multiple devices of each.'
So now I am completely lost... Seems that only possible option for me is buying 3 Phase Owl and check by myself...

The owl device is capable of using 1 and max 3 amp clamps if I'm correct. That is what's mentioned here. So in your case you need to use one clamp on each phase wire and combine them in one owl device. The rf-link will be able to receive the 3 channels from the owl device.

RFlink is able to receive "3 phase" OWL devices, it is also able to receive "1 phase" OWL devices..
Also, you can use at least up to 3 of them each of the same OWL type.. thus 3 times a 1 and 3 times a 3 phase OWL. Probably even more..

Hi all, first post for me too and I would like to add me to this thread.
I'm starting using Domoticz on my Cubietruck with Armbian and a RFXtrx433E connected via USB.
My electric system consists of an incoming line (single-phase) then sectioned into different areas (day zone lights , night zone lights, day zone sockets, night zone sockets, kitchen sockets, outdoor lights, etc etc).
I would like to draw different graphs for every zone.
I see on the Owl website that there is the TSE200-001 (CM180i):
http://www.theowl.com/index.php/energy-monitors/ac
With 3 connected calipers can I independently monitor three areas?
How many CM180i can I connect to Domoticz?
I would like to monitor 9 zones.
Thanks
