Fresh Ubuntu 16.04 installation with Domoticz 3.5837 and Node-red, nothing else.
On most of the switches if I click on the "Edit" button, nothing happen.
Developer options of FireFox show me this error:
Code: Select all
TypeError: ssLevelActions is undefined
EditLightDevice()
LightsController.js:1483
onclick()
192.168.0.29:1

the "Learn More" links here
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/doc ... ected_type, something I really don't understand!
On switches that does work (7 out of 22) I don't get that message
What could the cause be?
Thanks,
Andrea

What kind of switches are they? Selector switches? For dummy devices or some other kind of device?
And could you try a different browser, like chrome? I can't seem to reproduce the error you're describing.

They're all dummy "Selector Switch" and I just realizethat the switches where the "Edit" button works are just "Switch", in all the "Selector Switches" the "Edit" button doesn't work.
Are they intended to work this way?
I've tried with Chrome and the behavior is the same.

I think those switches are somehow corrupted. Can you try recreating one of those buttons again and see if that solves the issue? I'd like to see a screenshot of one of those switch widgets. When I create a selector switch directly by "Create Virtual Sensor" and select Selector from the list I get a different device than when I create a dummy switch and change it to Selector in the edit screen. Options from the first one are then also visible on the other, so this system is kind-a buggy.

Attached a screenshot.
I've just recreated and the edit button works, as soon as I've changed the "Switch Type" from "Selector" to "On/Off", the edit button doesn't work anymore

Now, this may be related...
I can no longer create a dummy selector switch. I have managed to create some a while ago and they work fine as selectors for my hive heating. I wanted to create another and created a new dummy switch.
Upon editing the switch to choose "selector" there is no action section to the page and the options start with "undefined" rather than "off". The switch does not save and when editing the switch a second time it is back to selector and the icon drop down is empty.
I have cleared the caches, run in incogneto mode and tried on a mobile browser all to no avail.

Try to create it as selector
and not editing the switch towards selector.

I've the same problem. Now I can't do anything with my sitch because I cant edit it. Even deactivateing and activateing doesn't help. Any way to completly reset a single device?
