Has JSON/API for dimmers changed?

For ages I have used the JSON/API commands to set levels of my dimmer lights using the range of 0-16 but recently I replaced the PC I run Domoticz on and am now running v3.5616 and I noticed that at 16 the lights weren't as bright as they used to be. I finally got round to investigating and the behaviour seems to have changed.
It now seems that the range is from 0-32 and 32 represents 96% but I cannot get the percentage to go any higher so if I put 33 or higher, the percentage stays at 96%

I can live with 4% loss but it just seems odd and also the behaviour is not reflected in the wiki.
