transmit power rfxcom

hello all.

i see in the RFXmngr of the rfxcom that you can bump up the transmit power of the transceiver.
is there ANY reason NOT to do that????damage to the transceiver in the long run or something??
or is it forbidden by law (in holland) to have more power :D ??

This is in many countries prohibited by law.
( I'd like to know if there are some technical problems with this, if not I want to know how to have more power) Have a longer antenna then orginal now
