Just added another FGS222 and named it. Restarted Domoticz and now all devices under "Groups & Network" is named 'Unknown'. When I look at OZV Control Panel they still have their names and same is true when I look at corresponding Domoticz devices.
All devices still work as before with all Groups still associated with correct zwave ids.
I´m running build 5641 with about 40 zwave devices, 1-wire, esp8266 and more attached.
Do anyone have an idea how I can sync this information back?
A workaround would be to manually add correct names back but not sure if that will screw up something else.
Any help appreciated.

I've seen this before also. In the time I managed to screw things up regularly I even kept the names in a txt file to update them directly in the domoticz database.
Something like this:
Now it has been a long time since I had that problem, even that file isn't up to date anymore.
My guess is that there's nothing more to do than set them back again manually. The name of the Zwave node is only informative, you can't do anything wrong with it.
Something like this:
Code: Select all
UPDATE ZWaveNodes SET Name = 'Controller' WHERE NodeID = 1;
UPDATE ZWaveNodes SET Name = 'kerstboom' WHERE NodeID = 2;
UPDATE ZWaveNodes SET Name = 'frigo' WHERE NodeID = 3;

UPDATE ZWaveNodes SET Name = 'Pluto' WHERE NodeID = 5;

Re: Suddenly all zwave devices changes name to "Unknown"
Thanks for the info and a fast response.
My understanding (might be wrong, still a newbie in zwave land) is that OZW is the master and owner of the node names. To me it look like Domoticz somehow lose node->name association in its DB and also fail to sync relation back once it fail.
It would be nice to have a way to force Domoticz to force update with the node name configuration in OZW.
