Problem using ByronSX doorbell

I am experimenting with RFlink and experience an issue with a ByronSX doorbell

This doorbell is recognized by RFlink in Domoticz as the following item:
2016-08-31 10:05:18.820 (RF Link LAN) Light/Switch (Unknown)
What appears strange to me that RFlink/Domoticz doesn't recognize this ByronSX as chime. (its unknown because i haven't added it)

when i connect RFlink to the serial port logger in RFlink loader it recognized this doorbell as:
20;105;Byron;ID=00da;CHIME=01;
This is a correct recognition I would say.

The result is that Domoticz/RFlink commands send to this doorbell are not succesfull.

The same doorbell works under RFXlan and is detected as "chime", not as "Light/Switch".
That means i can pickup signals send by the doorbell as chime and trigger a gong by simulating this doorbell (sending a signal from RFX with the same code)

Anybody suggestions what to do to make this doorbell work with RFlink?

Environment:
Domoticz v3.5469 on Ubuntu
RFLink v42 over LAN

I've just got an rflink and also having issues with this doorbell (well a Siemens but its the same protocol).

The doorbell learns as a switch but randomly decides if it will respond to activations from domoticz, most of the time not..
Apparently switching the unit ID from 1 through 8 allows to select the different chimes but they also randomly work or not.
The actual door chime press works 100%.

Is there anything I provide to help troubleshoot or debug the issue? - fairly new to rflink & domoticz so not sure where to start!

I am still very interested as well to be able ot drive my chime from the RFlink.

Like to have my domoticz make some noise on events.

Anybody can push us in the correct direction? ( debug RF link? ) ( code for the RF link ? )
Anything possible?
