Z-wave... The ideal setup...

I read a lot about z-wave on this forum and on the wiki. Its all very technical.. Groups are groups but not the same group, nodes, heal network etc. But what is the ideal setup.. I have a Z-wave stick in my Pi3 and 3 greenwave wall-plugs.. They work..but in my opinion not optimal.. They keep on flashing.. is it the ideal setup.. Should i reconfigure them..And how.. Could somebody in a clear way explain how to configure them and why.. I guess many forum members would appreciate it too..
Thanks in advance,
Hans

Search greenwave on the forum.
They flash after x minutes of no commands.
Maximum setting is 255 minutes.
Either repeat a command after that time or enable polling.

Thank you, but what about groups..how to set them up and why.. From what i read, the zwave network keeps itself alive, even without domoticz.. But how to configure it.. What has to be connected to what and why.. Is there a clear manual for noobs?
Regards, Hans

Domoticz is very stable and has a great up-time.
Therefore I think it's better to handle groups in Domoticz and not within z-wave (like pir switch light on without domoticz).
You'll have much more control over it.
