Adding KaKu ACD-1000 without a remote?

Hi all,

I just started to experience domoticz, and found this post: viewtopic.php?t=1324
I have Domoticz up and running on a raspberri pi 3b and the RFXCOM-E antenna with it. The antenna is installed and recognized.
I also bought the ACD-1000 the test with, but Domoticz does not find it automatically.
Also I do not have any KaKu remote, but if I choose a random id and unit code, the KaKu ACD-1000 is not switched on or off.

I have Version 3.4834 installed of Domoticz.

Is it possible to add the ACD-1000 without remote or do I need the remote to add it?

Regards..

I would first add a virtual switch (type ACin Domoticz, pick any address and save it.
Then make sure your ACD-1000 is on learning-mode (LED will be flashing) and then click the icon in Domoticz.
If the ACD-1000 receives the signal it will switch on/off a few times to acknowledge.

Keep in mind that if you ever want to clear the address setting in the ACD-1000, you will need a remote control with the "group off" button on it!
Perhaps find some Domoticz-colleague in your neighbourhood!

The Group Off command is available in RFXmngr.
