Hi Kevin,
Load firmware Type2 to get the remote ID. (BlindsT0 enabled)
After Domoticz added your Bofu device (Accept new Hardware Devices in settings!) you can load your previous firmware.
I have also a RFLink, send and receive possible!
Works very well with my Bofu blinds!

Re: RFXCOM BOFU Blind how to find 4 digit ID code [RESOLVED]
Hi PR, Thanks for the reply.
Using RFXflash.exe I have loaded Type 2 software. Via RFCmngr I set T0 receive and then pressed one of the handset buttons. This returned:
------------------------------------------------
Packettype = BLINDS1
subtype = Safy / RollerTrol / Hasta new
Sequence nbr = 0
id2-3 = BDC2
Unit = 15
Command = Open
Signal level = 8 -56dBm
================================================
BDC2 entered into Domoticz and all blind commands working well.
THANK YOU.
Best Regards Kevin

Re: RFXCOM BOFU Blind how to find 4 digit ID code [RESOLVED]
Hi RP,
What I meant to say was: DC2 entered into RFXmngr and all blind commands working well.
So far so good
When entering into Domoticz, I have the hardware item: RFXtrx 433 E, RFXCOM - RFXtrx433 USB 433.92MHz Transceiver, COM3 that I successfully use for my light switches and that I tested the blinds with using RFXmngr.
I created a Switch using this hardware item, but I cannot find a BOFU related item type - What did you use?
Also, having tried all the available 'item type' options they only transmit an 'ON' command, not an 'Open/Stop/Close' command set.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Regards
Kevin.

Hi Kevin,
Attach your RFXtrx (loaded with Type2 firmware and with BlindsT0 enabled) to Domoticz instead of RFXmngr.
Do not forget to activate "Accept new Hardware Devices" in Setup/Settings menu.
Then press the buttons of your Bofu remote, it should show up as "RollerTrol, Hasta new" in the Setup/Devices overview.
After it shows in this devices overview you can load the previous firmware for your RFXtrx.

Re: RFXCOM BOFU Blind how to find 4 digit ID code?
I have RollerTrol blinds and the Unit # just shows 0 for all the blinds. I'm using an LCD remote from RollerTrol that selects the Unit (specific shade) and it is synced up and works great.
I have flashed Type 2, set to T0. RFXMGR can read the remote 7B46 and control the blinds just fine. It lists the Unit, 1 through 5, for the blind I wish to control.
In Domoticz, I have T0 set. It sees the remote and lists the ID as 7B46 but the Unit shows as 0. Any ideas? I also, changed the Unit to 1 using SQLite and even though it shows correctly in Domoticz it does not control the shade.
This is a fresh install of Domoticz. My SD card crashed after two years. The blinds have been working perfectly for that long. But the reinstall won't show the Unit. HELP!?!?!?!

Re: RFXCOM BOFU Blind how to find 4 digit ID code?
I just did an update on Domoticz and everything worked again. I'm back up and running 100%.
The whole process for me was.....
Write the old version to a 2 GB SD card
putty to the Domoticz IP .55
user pi
pw raspberry
MUST DO THIS !!!!!
sudo curl -L install.domoticz.com | sudo bash
sudo apt-get update
Add the RFXtrx 433 in hardware.
Use the LCD remote and hit the stop buttons for each of your shades. They will show up in devices.
Go to "Switches" and change the device type to blinds.
