Partially works in Explorer 11 but not the edition of timers for example (as Microsoft Edge)
Opera thus accept to edit timers.

what can I do ?
Heeelp.
Thanks,

Are you serious ?

I mean, Alas, .... who is not using Chrome these days ?

Clear your browser cache
clear your app-cache

(these are two different things)

Ps. you can attach images in the normal (phpbb forum) way... and... best to keep it international (English)

Remotely, I can only get Domoticz to login completely with Chrome incognito. I've tried rebooting my server computer and the computer I'm using remotely to login. I've also cleared the cache and app cache of the Chrome browser of the remote computer I'm using.

I'm only able to login remotely using Chrome Incognito. Is there a fix for this? I have tried everything I can. Only thing i'm doing now as a workaround is just running it in incognito mode.. How do I get it fully login using a regular browsing window? What's odd is that domoticz in the log is showing a successful login. The browser however just kicks me back to the login page... Anyone have any ideas?

Everyone is using Chrome these days... so no, it is not a domoticz issue

I didn't think it was Domoticz but I've cleared the cache for Chrome in every way I could. I don't know what else I'm missing. Only way it works is incongnito and it makes no sense to me.

Hi,
No problem for me.
Chrome 51.0.2704.103 m / Windows 10.
Chrome 51.0.2704.81 / Android 5.0.2
Local or external accesses are both working fine.

@georgesattali

Start by disabling all Chrome extensions and popup blockers. Re-enable one at a time and you may find the offender. I had more than one adblocker and that made Domoticz appear... occasionally... when in the mood. All apps and extensions that "futz" with the urls or code should be disabled or whitelisted for your server address in any case.

Cheers, Jens

Oh, sh*t!... He's right.

I use Firefox by default but just now tried to access Domoticz with Chrome and... guess what?

I get the Domo background and nothing else. Removed all add-ons and extensions, flushed the app data and web cache... and still no love.

Wow... something is up.

... and I can confirm that going "incognito" in a Chrome tab solves the problem.... as it does for him.

Hmmm...

Giz,

 Quoting you, "Are you serious ?" Without empirical evidence, how would you plan to defend that position? Perhaps it's time for a break from this, no?

It's not entirely accurate... and a rather sweeping statement. I only use Chrome for the occasional Google app interaction... that's all. Of course, I know folks who refuse to use it altogether for various reasons. The corollary to your response is: "Everyone using Chrome can't have any problems with Domoticz." Does that make sense? Chrome doesn't work for me either. True, one makes for lousy statistics... but two, on the other hand...

OK, you don't know what his problem is and you don't have an answer but your response was uniquely unhelpful. Loyal supporters don't warrant unnecessarily defensive, snarky or illogical responses from the developer. Being one of the, apparently, five Windows users here, I, nevertheless, tried to reproduce the problem and discovered I seem to have the same issue. It does appear to work on my Android phone in Chrome. Had it been me, I would have preferred an opening response other than "Are you serious?"

You also said, "P.S., you can attach images in the normal (phpbb forum) way... and... best to keep it international (English)". Busting his balls because the man is in France and his machine is localized, naturally, for French makes little sense. You expect him to reconfigure his machine for English, capture the screen and then reconfigure it back to French? Though I can read French, German and Russian, anyone who has used Chrome can recognize that window and know what he has done so far. I'm a native born American... and your English is wanting on occasion. I don't see anyone giving you grief for that.

I wish, of course, that everyone spoke English. It's not the way of things... yet.

If that sounds somewhat nationalistic, perhaps you've heard that "The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong but that's a damn safe way to bet." It certainly won't be Mandarin or Cantonese. (That part was humor... or not.)

Ease up, dude... and try decaf.

P.S. Sorry... This set me "off" though because I have seen too much of this type of interaction recently on forums when "developers" talk to "non-developers".

Cheers,

Jens

Hi Jens,

Sorry, dont have the time nor the will to read that big post.

What i was trying to say, we are using chrome for years now.
If domoticz did not work with chrome, than surely someone else (... ehh me for example) should have a BIG problem right ?
And we don't

So again, it is not a Domoticz issue

Time for a break of this, yes indeed, closing topic !
