I would love to have this API added as a notifikation option http://joaoapps.com/join/
It's similar to Pushbullet but only has one time cost for the android app.

There is built-in support for Pushover. Pushover costs about 5 euro once per-platform (iOS, Android, Desktop).

I'll pass on that, don't need another app... Doesn't look like Pushover can send clipout/past text between computer and my phone.
Send chrome tabs, send sms, take screenshot, send files and ring my phone...

Or use Telegram, which is completely free.

I was under the impression that it is used as any other notification in Blocky?

No, only pushover, sms and e-mail is supported.

You can use url to so you can use join but not to the preconfed http

I'm not following you.

Just use the "Send notification with subject .." block and ignore the priority and sound setting as they don't apply to Join/Custom HTTP notification.

You have three "groups" of notifications. SMS, e-mail and notification services. Pushover and HTTP (in this case, Join) is two of them and one of them supports priority and sound to be set, the other one does not. In the Join case, as I said, just ignore the priority and sound setting in the block in blockly.

Yeah. The sound selection is only used with Pushover. For other services, it will be ignored.
All services (but HTTP I think) support the normal and high priority. The other ones are service specific (like -1 only used for Prowl/NMA and Pushover). The Join API does not have support for priority but I'm sure it's coming. Then Domoticz need to be able to set the priority in the called URL for custom notifications, dynamically setting something like #PRIORITY. For now, all notifications created by Join use the "high" priority.
