Could you help me to choose a kind of instrument?
I have an global electric counter with PV panels therefore it goes in two ways.
I see a lot of problem with counters (incremental or no) with wrong value when counter goes to negative value.
Therefore what is the device type i need?

Finally, someone could explain me what is the difference between counter and incremental counter?

Do you apply an analogue meter (with Ferraris-wheel moving in 2 directions dependent on current-flow) or do you apply a digital meter (with one or more counters)?

For this moment i build some sensors with two outputs:
One to increase the total counter, the other one to decrease it.
So i have a counter for example :
