I already have upgraded to a bigger antenna and the rflink almost covers my whole house but I get some dead spots. I would like to correct this and also extend the range so that I can reach my mailbox witch lies 15-20 m from my house.
Are there any ways to extend the range? I noticed that there are some some standard repeaters from "nexa"and other makers but those products seems to only be able to repeat a few signals like switches and such.
Any way to extend the range?

Re: Any way to extend the range?
How is your RFLink gateway powered ? If you use only the 5V coming from the USB port the actual board voltage is less then 5V. Could be as low as 4.6V. That is just in spec for the aurel transceiver but not optimal. Powering the Arduino Mega from an exernal powersource using the barrel jack on the board assures you have 5V board voltage and the aurel transceiver could work better. It's worth a try.
