"log" button in Dashboard entries

It is very useful to have some switches on the dashboard page, but it would be even more useful if they would also offer the "log" button.
That way the "switches" tab would be a large container of all switches, where the user would only visit for technical reasons.
The "dashboard" tab would be the day-to-day page to keep control of what is happening.
Does anyone support this?

Unless that little arrow is microscopic, it doesn't show at my installation...

That is likely due to the fact that this is the screen capture of the person(manjh) missing the log button and not the person(Number8) that reported tittle buttons.
