xml integration

Hello to everyone
I need to copy a xml file into domoticz, specifically a patch for Danfoss Room Sensor 014G0160 into openzwave.
I had this installed and working prior to upgrading to latest stable 3.4834, now this patch appears to have disappeared and the room sensor has reverted to its original ID. of 7 rather than 1.
I have tried to re-install this xml file again many times but I get many errors; syntax, unexpected characters, no such value etc..
I have 2 implementations of domoticz, the stable 3.4834 and the latest beta 3.4985 on 2 sd cards both 8Gb class 10 running on my Raspberry Pi 2 with Razberry and RFXtrx433. Unfortunately I have no image backup although I keep database backups.
Can anyone help me solve this problem? As you will have guessed I am not a coder, although I have success with Blocky but lua and other scripts I am still a beginner.
