At the very least you will need an Arduino Mega 2560 and a decent RF receiver module.
If you also want to control devices you will also need a transmitter module (or get a transceiver)

Yes I did check that page. It shows several different components but not really how to set it up. Is it possible to build something with the parts that I linked to in my first post? Or do I need this: http://www.nodo-shop.nl/en/rflink-gatew ... nents.html It is out of stock.

I want something to put in a enclosure so it doesn't look to crappy and fragile.

I started with an Arduino 2560 and some cheap 433 mhz receiver and transceiver that i ordered on Ebay, ordered quite a few for some Arduino projects. Im quite a noob to this home automation and arduino so i struggled abit with getting sensors registrered in Domo. And after some testing of 5 transmitters and 5 receivers, they where not actually 100%, so you can struggle with getting enough range both for receiving and transmitting from Domo.

After i ordered and installed the kit you linked to, things worked much better, and i didnt have to worry about if it was the lack of range that was the reason i didnt get readings.
