Hi,
I am ordering now one RFLink gateway and I am wondering about ordering Dipole or "regular" stick antenna.
Is there some benefit of having regular antenna? Meaning, if I order Dipole would I miss something or have some inconvenience (other then having to fix it somewhere somehow, where regular antenna stands on its own on the box).

I currently do not need very strong signal, but I like to have the option if I would install some sensor on the garage or motorcycle or around the house or something. Any experience with this?

That one I should order, not the Dipole from the nodo shop?

A lot of "stick" antennas are actually dipole on the inside - they more or less easily distinguished by having bottom part thicker which contains both cable (going toward middle) and bottom half of dipole.


Also "stick" antennas which are short and stubby are actually a coil antenna on the inside.


Pure stick antennas distinguished by being quite thin uniformly.
