Hello,
i configured website protection on http://192.168.2.1, and if i go there i get the question for my username and password.
But if i go to https://192.158.2.1 i dont get the question to fill in a username and password.
is it normal that i have to configure website protection on http and https?

Re: Password protection ssl
I just noticed the same. If I enable website protection and go to http://domoticz:8080 I'm asked for user/password. But if I go to https://domoticz, no login is necessary. Why is this so?

Re: Password protection ssl
Checked it here, and it will ask for a username/password
Could you try:
- restarting domoticz
Are you using the native SSL implementation of Domoticz? (not via another way like nginx ?)

Re: Password protection ssl
Hi, thanks for the response. After restarting Domoticz, user/password is required with https, so everything is working as expected.
