Zigbee USB dongle

I am using the Busch-Jeager Zigbee Light Link products to replace my old light switches.
This means I now can use a Busch-Jeager ZLL wall switch to trigger a scene and have power on the Hue light all the time.

The ZigBee Light Link control elements can be programmed by capturing an active state of the lights.
What I would like to accomplish is to extend the functions of the ZLL buttons using a Zigbee USB dongle as a sniffer. So when a button is pushed I can trigger a script based on the button Zigbee ID.
Note that these buttons are not programmed into the Philips Hue bridge, so I can't trigger on actions on the Hue bridge.
Is this somehow possible?
