Next stable Domoticz on Raspberry: Wheezy or Jessie?

As I understand is the present stable image from Domoticz on Wheezy.
New Rasbian images are all Jessie, it seems that Wheezy is phased out.

I tried to install Domoticz, Node.js, Node.red, Monit etc on the lite version of Jessie.
But I ran in all sort off trouble such as autostart the different programs.

I understand that there is a change to Systemd (whatever ?) in Jessie which caused the trouble.
But almost all install guides and wiki's describe installing programs on Wheezy.
(not only Domoticz wiki's)

Is the coming next stable release raspberry image of Domoticz released on Wheezy or on Jessie.

Mind you, i have only basic understanding of linux, mostly copying commando's into putty :)

Hy, as I read in your signature, you've using a SSD with your Pi.
So may I suggest? Install Raspbian jessie and disable the desktop, following the wiki with install on existing Raspberry Pi image. Works out of the box for me on a Pi 2, ok, some little problems with additional software, but let the forum-search help you, or PM me.
BTW I'm also a NOOB who copy/paste his needings (met vallen en opstaan kom je errug ver...).
