2 channel relay at low voltage

Hello,

I would like to add a 2 channel relay (or just 2 separate relays) with the 433 mhz protocol. I want to be able to switch it on with a command and off with another command just like the kaku switches.
First let me tell you why I want it. I want to switch the power of 2 usb devices, so I want to switch 5V with the relay.
However, I am seeing all kind of relays. They are stating all kind of things like 20A 14VDC or 10A 30VDC together with 10A 28VDC etc.
Can someone tell me if this kind of relay is possible to switch 5V? And if it is even possible to control such a relay with Domoticz?

It is certainly possible. You will need to add a 433mhz gateway device to your Domoticz setup , such as the rfxcom unit http://www.rfxcom.com/en_GB or if you can diy the rflink unit http://www.nemcon.nl/blog2/

Once you have a gateway you can either build the relay controller using something like the arduino as a base or buy one of the many units available on ebay. Just do a search for 433mhz relay and you will find many results. Both the rfxcom and rflink devices will support many of these type of units. Once you have decided on the gateway you wish to use I would post on their forum as to which type of remote relay will work. I am sure someone will be able to give you an ebay link

as long as it supports VDC > 5v your fine, the only thing you need to watch out for is solid state relays.. those tend to be picky about what kinda power they can switch.

If you just want to do DC power you can just get some n-channel mosfets, Ive used these with great success for DC switching: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MOSFET-breakout ... 1575487589

I forgot to mention that I own an RFLink. Will ask them about which relay is supported.

And about the mosfets, I picked the relay because there are standard units with relays which can be switched with 433mhz. Haven't seen those units with mosfets.
