willemd, are you able to ?
Sorry, I can't help with this. I only use hame relay outside of domoticz and am not using hm2mqtt.

If I were you I would open a few terminal sessions and use mosquiito_sub to subscribe to the relevant topics for your system (the same topics you used for testing hame relay). Then you should be able to see the mqtt messages that are being exchanged and see whether those match expectations.

This morning there was software update of the app.
And just now software update of Marstek E V3.
I enable the Open Api again and we will see if it does not reset the device anymore..........

NO , also after this latest firmware update (22042026 V1.48) the Open API is still killing the settings.
Reverting back to disabling Open API

Hi,

I also upgraded the app but no New firmware version was proposed at the moment.

Keeping my way with hame-relay active anyway.

I just noticed that the app mentioned "there is a software update version 1.44".
But there is version 1.48 on my device currently.
So in other words, I think they made a mistake with firmware checking??
Because from 1.48 to 1.44 sound like downgrading ;-)

The real question is whether it remains stable during longer time (multiple days) Can it be used constantly without causing any full resets of the battery system? One day is not enough.

And which version of the plugin are you using? The standard one (developed initially for Venus A) or the async one (developed for Venus E) ?

A quick update: I am now at 149.121.1.110.3 and I switched on Open API yesterday morning.

Running stable so far, although I wonder whether they have implemented a workaround by having the Open API ON after a reset instead of OFF. In that way, you don't notice when there is a spontaneous reset, because it will continue running after the reset.

I am having this suspicion because I normally switch OFF the LED display and I see that sometimes it is ON again, so maybe a reset took place? I don't mind such a workaround, as long as Open API and Surplus feed-in keep functioning, that is what I need.

OK great, support told me 2 days ago that there is no firmware update from version. 148...

I hope I will be able to upgrade it soon too.

May be they just added a watchdog, like you said.

For the record I just have been upgraded to firmware version 148-7 today.

Running the API currently and waiting to see if it fails or not.

I was wondering if the open api is stable now with the new version of the firmware.

That is good news. I just installed the Venus E v3 this weekend and in the IOS App I see that it has version 148 (This is the latest version). But it must be version 148.7 then?
