jpcasta wrote: Tuesday 05 December 2023 19:00 Hello,
After 12 days, I was able to receive the data for the Netatmo weather station but not for the Thermostats.
I had to regenerate the password to be able to get again the Thermostats data.
Is somebody experiencing the same issue?
Will we need to regenerate the password every 12 days or is there something to be done to keep the same password?
Thanks
Was about to post. But the retreived code expires after two hours now. Weather station only. Something changed?

There is a new change for the access token from Netatmo !

Web generated refresh_tokens are no more long lived tokens, they will be automatically refreshed

:?

Now my token runs for longer than the two hours I got yesterday. But I am curious to know what the status of this is. I run a self programmed thermostat with the Netatmo data as a source. Is this issue fixable? Otherwise I will use another source for my thermostat :-)

I have just updated to the new Netatmo login procedure after my setup finally had trouble logging in after many years without issues. All working again thanks to the info in these posts and the wiki, thank you.

The only issue I've spotted is that if you reboot Domoticz or restart the Netatmo worker, the access "code" will be out of date so you need to rerun the URL to generate a fresh one and update it in Domoticz. I assume that if you experience a internet issue, the same code issue will also occur. Hopefully in time this will all get sorted out, but at least for now I know how to get things working again ;)

Is there any way or some forum user can tell me, or give a download link, about the beta version 2023.2 (build 15667). (11-Sep-2023).
Unfortunately, the July 2023.2 stable release does not include Netatmo's new OAuth2 authentication and the latest beta works with Netatmo but no longer has Openzwave USB.
I would need it for Raspberry.
Can anyone help me to know if a beta older than the last one contains both the new Netatmo authentication and the Openzwave usb?
For Raspberry?

Thank you
Alberto

Hello,

Here is the link: https://domoticz.com/downloads/
You will find the stable and beta versions
However after backing up your domoticz directory you can install it automatically using the updatebeta script located in domoticz directory.

Regards

The beta that I find in the link you reported is the last one and it doesn't suit me because support for OpenZwave Usb controller has been removed.
I need the previous beta from September which I can no longer find for Raspberry.
It's an older beta that should already have the new Netatmo authentication and also Openzwave Usb.

Thank you
Alberto

Hi, I need help with Redirect URI as my setup runs in port 8080 and I need to use 127.0.0.1 or machine name. Otherwise login prompt pops out with http://localhost:8080 and no users defined in my setup.

Netatmo connection died 4th dec I had old setup so few hours ago I installed DOMOTICZ 2023.2 (build 15457)
I tried to be quick and all things mentioned in this thread, but nothing ... except that red line error.

Hallo,
the same thing happened to me.
I also installed the latest stable 2023.2 but no luck.
Netatmo authentication is not implemented in this version either.

This was implemented in the last beta I tried and here the connection with Netatmo works.

In the latest beta, however, the OpenZwave Stack is no longer supported.
I have many Zwave devices and so I have reverted back to the latest stable 2023.2

Netatmo is no longer functional.
I hope that a stable release with Netatmo + OZW Usb authentication will be created.

Otherwise with Domoticz you will no longer have both functionalities.
It is very frustrating to have to try the switch to zwave js ui.

Even after doing a working installation of zwave js ui
it is not trivial to test all the scripts with the new Zwave devices.

I hope for a patch for Netatmo authentication + OZW us.

Alberto

My experience is that the redirect URL does nothing except take you to a "cannot find" page. This is good, as that page's address will contain the "code" you need ;)

Hi,

Just to inform you guys in case you have problems : My app suddenly stopped working.
it worked fine for months using https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Netatmo
I dunno why it stopped... It happend after a domoticz update and some OS maintenance on that (windows) system

suddenly if i login to the dev portal the page is broken, all my info in my app is empty.
Seems to be something on netatmo side. Refilling with correct info does not work, as the page crashes, refreshes automaticaly, and i can start over again before i am able to create the client keys

Since it is so many times with Netatmo, i am now close to abandon the hardware.

Question does anyone know a good CO2 sensor for domoticz ?
(pls not working on zwave)
I use the CO2 sensor for setting the right amount of ventilation .. (mayby i should just upgrade the ventilator unit)

best regards Zicht

for me the best solution is wemos esp8266 with MH-Z19 sensor and espeasy software, you can add some sensors or relays if you want
I have the same CO2 values between netatmo home coach and MH-Z19

For a few days now, the Netatmo plugin has stopped working as it did. I generate the password according to the url https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Netatmo and it starts working, but after a while it stops working and I get the following errors.

2024-06-06 14:14:39.544 Error: Netatmo: No access granted, forcing login again...
2024-06-06 14:14:39.735 Error: Netatmo: No access granted, check credentials...

I have already done it several times but it is difficult to continue like this, any solution?

Thanks!!

Same here. Token refresh not working anymore I think. :(

Who could check this, thanks?

Edit: Bug tracker has a ticket for this. I hope it will ready soon for testing.

for me Netatmo seems to run continuously without any problem,
but whenever I restart (on debian bookworm) the domoticz service, I get the same error messages as above and I have to follow the procedure to obtain a new password. I will have a look, whether it will also happen if I keep the domoticz service running.

I changed netatmo service restart from 15 min to 10 hrs. Now netatmo running for 9 hrs. However I don't see update events in the log. Only first after service restart and then sometimes. Temps seem to update with correct values.

edit: logs are fine. Not sure why that time it did not log properly. Restarting computer requires getting new token, tho.

Since a few days Domoticz ends after a few days with processing the values of Netatmo. In the logfile of Domoticz i see that there is an autorisation-problem with Netatmo "No access granted". If i repair the password in Hardware/Netatmo conform the repair-procedure of Netatmo, then it works a few days and then Domoticz stops again.
I use Netatmo now on only one device and logged out on the other devices, this does not solve the problem.
Does Netatmo or Domoticz are working on this problem?

Same problems here, since a few dates the netatmo server returns a problem stating: Error: Netatmo: No access granted, check credentials...

So since a reboot and restart did not do the trick I renewed the app in the dev. console of netatmo but that also did not do the trick, only one set of data came in and than again the error?
Has anything changed at Netatmo?
